The Heat Wave is Killing
The massive heat wave that hit the mid-Atlantic and Midwest has already killed at least 22 people this week.
Excessive heat warnings are issued by The National Weather Service (NWS). The combination of heat and humidity could spike the heat index of the warmth to 115 degrees through Saturday.
By the weekend the heat was expected to cover nearly 50 percent of the country and impact nearly 50 percent of the population.
